Old-fashioned south-side formula, this one has all the ingredients that might have made a hit film in the 80’s or 90’s. The comedy is stale, action is ridiculous, the lyrics don’t fit the music, the cut happy editing makes coherence difficult, horror elements linked to spiritualism & hocus-pocus are more effects oriented than credible. It’s a test of endurance.
